Here we have gathered after our packing party. We packed up 13 bags for check-in with all the great stuff we are bringing to the school: books, balls, games, clothes, shoes and much, much more. We've covered all the last minute instructions and will meet again on Wednesday, 17th at SFO for our adventure.
As I remember this is the first trip to Africa for everyone (except you-know-who) and all are excited for the entirely unexpected. Although we've spent hours talking about what it will be like, there is no way to experience the experience without experiencing it.
Prayers go with us for safety and health along the way and for a wonderful time of bonding with the staff and children of Achungo.
